Improvement of microorganism strain productivity

The CCMPA possesses a modern complex of laboratory equipment and the appropriate level of expertise to conduct research on improving the properties of microorganism strains.

We specialize in the study of actinomycetes as producers of biologically active compounds (primarily antibiotics), but we are not limited to this group of microorganisms. Our qualified specialists have significant experience in the improvement and engineering of industrial strains using methods of induced mutagenesis, directed transposon mutagenesis, as well as genetic and metabolic engineering techniques.
