The material and technical infrastructure of the MCCAP enables a full cycle of modern microbiological, molecular-genetic, and chemical-analytical research.

The laboratory’s instrument park supports all stages of handling microbial cultures, from safe cultivation in Class II biological safety cabinets to the extraction and concentration of secondary metabolites using high-throughput centrifuges, rotary evaporators, and fraction collectors.

Molecular-genetic studies are supported by a suite of high-precision equipment, including a modern multi-block PCR system, an electroporator, electrophoresis systems, and microvolume spectrophotometers.

A special priority of the MCCAP is guaranteeing the preservation and maintaining the viability of its unique microbial repository. For this purpose, the collection is equipped with ultra-low temperature freezers (specifically at -86 °C) and an industrial-grade freeze-drying (lyophilization) system.

A crucial infrastructural advantage of our facility is its complete energy independence, provided by a powerful autonomous diesel generator. This ensures the continuous operation of critical equipment, guaranteeing the absolute safety of valuable samples and the uninterrupted progression of scientific experiments under any external conditions.
